How do I stop the screen on an iPhone 12 changing portrait automatically whenever it wants to?

You can lock it to where the screen won’t rotate to Landscape (Horizontal) mode when you rotate your iPhone. To do this you will have to use the Rotation Lock Button which looks like (see below):

This button is located in the control panel. You can access the Control Panel by TOUCHING and PULLING DOWN from the Top Right of your iPhone’s Screen. Locate the Rotation Lock button and Tap on it.
