to avoid the waiting process for a customized via Apple Watch online

am I able to customize which band color id with my watch I’d like in store?

I personally intended on upgrading and trading in my current Apple Watch 6 in store for a custom Apple 7

It will depend on what is in stock. But in any case, they can at least process the trade-in and order the upgrade for you.
