Beats Studio Buds not connecting to Bluetooth

Beats Studio Buds failed attempts not connecting at least 8/10 times.

I've tried hard reset, removing from phone and paired again.

I open the case the Beats and buds case icon is displayed, however it doens't bluetooth connect. It would also make sound in the buds like it's connected but no connection. I don't have another phone to pair with.

Problem started around 25/01/2022, I think after latest firmware update.

What have a I tried?

Everyting from Apple-support website and YouTube videos. Not fixed.

Opened the case, reset to factory defaults, paired again. Made no difference.

Repeated factory reset/pairing in bush in middle of nowhere.

I have old Airpods generation 1 and they pair flawless. Too bad the Airpods' batteries now only last 40 minutes.

Any suggestions please?
