Spam scam

When I receive scammers texts claiming to be Apple or Netflix I forward them to these companies for action. I assume Mcafee would also want to take action with those misusing their brand but their website are all about sales. Is there place to find where to send the texts to Mcafee or other major brands? Does anyone have a list? Text scams are very prevalent. I receive several per day.

There is no standard email for reporting scams. You can try “spoof”, which works for many, including PayPal and irs.gov. Apple’s, as you probably know, is reportphishing@apple.com. Banks like "fraud"

For reporting texts to a carrier use “7726” (SPAM) as the forward address.
