Hello misha203,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! We understand you want to know if your AirPods are fake. We're happy to assist you.

If you'd like to dig deeper and confirm the authenticity of your AirPods you can visit an Apple Service Center to have them inspected: Find Locations

Keep in mind, Apple always recommends purchasing your devices from an Apple Authorized Service Provider, Apple Store or Apple Authorized Reseller.

Take care!

Verifying a Genuine Device:

  1. Get the Serial Number: Find the Serial Number of your AirPods - Apple Support
  2. Enter the Serial Number here: https://checkcoverage.apple.com/.
  3. View the Results: If all shows up as AirPods, then you are fine. If not, then these are fake, and that is likely why you are getting the issue of connectivity.
