proximity sensor

While on call and phone close to the face. The proximity sensor works fine! But if the call is disconnected by the other end. Proximity sensor stops working resulting unwanted touch and calling

I'm not sure what you've described would be a fault of the phone. The proximity sensor appears to be doing its job when the call is active. Once the call has concluded, whether on purpose or not, if your face is close to the phone as it would be during a call, the proximity sensor won't do what it would do during an active phone call. I have tested this myself. So, there would appear to be nothing wrong with your phone.

Ya so technically the hardware is working fine.


if you see functionality wise. This is not making sense. The proximity sensor help you not get your call disconnected while on a ongoing call. But it lets you unwontedly dial other number right after the other person hangs up.


also to note that this does not happen in andriod. I have been using both ios and android almost for the same time.


it’s the proximity sensor timing that has to be changed. and I am sure a lot of users have this issue. I personally asked at least 100s of them
