Dual sim in foreign country

I have an esym card with Verizon and a standard sim for TIGO in the country of Panama on an iPhone 13 and now unable to receive ‘Messages’ to my Verizon number. In the settings for messages it states the number will be deactivated in 25 days. My question is will it be reactivated when I return the the US.

thank you

This appears to be a question that should be asked to Verizon. When a cellular plan is issued in the US, then it is intended to be used in the US. Some carriers shut off service when the customer has been out of the country for too long. How long is too long? That is defined by the carrier. I recommend that you contact Verizon and ask your question to them for the right answer.
