I need to remove a defective sound driver. How do I do that?

I'm using an app that installed virtual sound drivers and they seem to have become defective. They record garbled audio. I know if I delete them, the app will reinstal new drivers. How do I delete the drivers.

I found the way, but it was as the software expected. In their file menu was an entry to remove the virtual sound driver. I did it, with the hope that a restart would force the app to suggest its re-installation. By gum, it did. Problem solved.

Hi, Van-D and thanks for reaching out. We see you're having issues with some sound drivers that were installed. We'll be glad to help out.

Since different applications may install things differently, you'll want to reach out to the developer of the software that installed the driver for instructions on removing it.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
