Apple Watch stuck in synch

Hi all.

finally upgraded my phone to a 13 pro and its great. However after unpairing my series 3 watch (lastest OS for it) from my old phone, it’s completely frozen on the synch stage when connecting to my new phone.

photo doesn’t show it very well but there is only one tiny progress bar. I’ve left it for over and hour and it hasn’t budged.

I’ve tried a hard reset on the watch, rebooted phone etc but nothing works. It reloads to the pin face and once you enter that it reverts to the same synch screen.

I cannot think of anything else to do apart from maybe Genius Bar visit.
