not updating
the watch still works but every time I connect it to the phone and start an update the phone says that I can't because the internet is not connected but the internet will be working all the while .

javaliga: thanks for the suggestion but that was the first those were the first things I tried and they didn't help.
Over the past couple of weeks I've spent multiple hours on the phone with a second level Apple support advisor, recreating the error, generating logs from my watch and then sending those logs to Apple. I just heard from the Apple Support advisor again this morning and Apple engineers have informed her that the issue is affecting many other users as well. They are actively working on a resolution this but it may take a while to fully resolve it - no ETA at this time. The fix may come as a software update and/or they may reach out to all affected users via email.
I have a planned call with my support advisor on May 16, assuming the issue is not resolved before then.
