iMessage on iPad mini
Im trying to reset my messages since I’m no longer getting them on the iPad. I’ve turned off iMessage rebooted and now when I sign in, I get a message that it cannot access FaceTime server.

As for Messages, if you have an iPhone - and both iPad and iPhone are signed-in to iCloud with the same AppleID - to send SMS/MMS messages from your iPad you must explicitly enable Text Message Forwarding for your iPad on your iPhone. Verify these settings:
On your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - set to ON - and explicitly enable your iPad from the list of devices.
Also ensure that Messages in iCloud is enabled on both your iPhone and iPad:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > Messages - set to ON

Lotus Pilot, you are a life saver!!! No where does anything say to turn that messaging “forward” feature on in my iPhone. Thank you, that solved my weird Text Message (using cell phone numbers) problems.
You are very welcome.
