I was under the impression that this was a thread that Apple reviewed. And in my comments above when I was referring to update, I mean buying a new iPhone not in doing system updates. If this site isn’t reviewed by Apple, where do I send it

Agreed. My M1 iPad Pro 12.9” (5th gen) can do it but my iPhone 13 and iPhone SE 2020 (with Home button) can not.

Ah…OK. I couldn’t remember if it had ever worked on a phone.

That feature existed with the IPhone 6s Plus. It worked when used Waze and turned the phone upside down.

I came here because I have this question too. I had this feature with my Iphone 8, and I loved it. I guess it's not a feature with the Iphone 12. S**k*.

it is a feature of the iPhone 8. See my post below. Just tried it now.

Oh. Thank you. I still have an iPhone 8, but it’s still having this issue after updating to the new OS. So seems that feature may have been completely removed with this current OS sadly.

I definitely remember doing this, unless I’ve lost my mind.

But I just skipped to a 13 from a 5S over everything in the middle so it may not have been recently.

It's not removed in IOS15, it still works with iPhone 6s running the latest IOS.

Seems that is no longer possible on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. How disappointing.
