Hello there coreen66,

I understand you're looking for assistance with signing out of your iCloud account as you've forgotten your passcode while no longer having access to your trusted device, right?

If you're still signed in with your Apple ID and iCloud on your device, you may be able to change your password on that device. In addition, you may be able to request your verification code through Settings if you're still signed in to change your password. If you'd like to give either of these a try, check out the following resources:

Change your Apple ID password

Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication - Check out the section labeled "Get a code from Settings on your trusted device" to see if that helps.

If you're unable to change your password or get a verification code on your current device, you would need to use account recovery to see if you can regain access to your account to reset the password. For more information on this, check out the following resource:

How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password

As it sounds like you may have another Apple ID already set up, you may find it helpful to set up a recovery contact in the event you're unable to access a verification code in the future with your current Apple ID. It is best to use a contact of someone that you trust so you can count on them being there to help if needed. For information on this, take a look here:

Set up an account recovery contact

I hope this information is able to help with what you're needing to do. Feel free to provide an update, or ask additional questions. Either myself, or the community will do our best to help.

Have a great day!
