Monterey & Time Machine

After migrating from Big Sur to Monterey several problems where encountered due to non-apple apps not yet functioning. Parallels to run windows on Mac also seemed to suffer. Of course Parallels wants you to buy the latest version also to support Win11. To return to Big Sur I really got screwed. The Iso installation did not function and the Time machine disc was totally overwritten to be used in the new Monterey environment. This should at least have been with a warning from Apple. Next time to migrate to Monterey after Apple got their act together on this MacOs, I will disconnect the backup discs to be sure to stay on the save side. Let's hope Apple is not decreasing to MS level where you better be an ITer to handle your machine. Keep it please up Apple. Big Sur is still great for a while.
