Why can I open an important site like frs.fl.gov on my iPad, but not on my Mac?

Why can I open an important site like frs.fl.gov on my iPad, but not on my Mac? It opens with authentication safety on my iPad, but on the Mac, I get a message that says, "The system is currently unavailable. Please try again later." I had no issues opening the same website on my iPad. Please advise.

Restart the Mac, and try again.

If that fails, boot into Safe Mode, and try again. Safe Mode rebuilds various caches, and temporarily prevents some sometimes-problematic apps from loading.

On the Mac, do you have any add-on anti-virus or anti-malware apps installed, or any add-on VPN apps, or any add-on cleaner apps?
