Merging SSDs

Hi I have two SSDs installed on my older Mac Pro that is running El Capitan. One is a boot disk (250gb SSD) and the new one is a 1TB SSD. I would like to combine them to make one large storage space. How do I do that?

Basically that is called RAID.
