Hey, Kathawks, maybe i can help you… in Apple Mail , go to Preferences then Fonts + Colours… and you should be able to pick any font, any size ( pretty much) and you can press Apple ( command ) and the Plus ( +) key to enlarge the contents of the preview pane..
