Screenshot from a pdf

I took screenshots of a pdf that I’d opened in safari. In browser, I mean in pdf file when you zoom in it’s still very clear. The screenshot of it however gets blurry when I zoom in. Anyone has any idea whether this a normal and default thing or a problem, a sort of bug or error?

It's normal: the PDF format usually contains text using fonts and, in case, vector graphics, which both are zoomable without losing definition.

A screenshot is a picture of the screen: basically a defined mosaic of pixels – like a photo – which, when zoomed, loses definition.
