Unfortunately, you can only upgrade up to macOS El Capitan (which it looks like you are already using). If you need to run a higher OS, you'll need to upgrade your Mac.

You need a new computer. If you buy a new enough Mac, you will be able to upgrade past High Sierra and go to macOS Monterey 12.
