Is it possible to change the numpad , to . depending on application?

I have a keyboard with numpad (MK2 black), which has a , as decimal due to my language preferences, but some applications read . as decimal indicator instead. I was wondering if there's a way to automate which value that key returns depending on application active.

Thanks!

Got to make it work using BetterTouchTool.

Quite straightforward as the numpad comma show as 'Pad ,' so there's no overlap with the main comma.

I just set that key as a function to send a dot in the programs I want.

FYI, when I press shift + ctrl + comma it shows a dot as Tom noted, but with the above method is automated by app.

Thanks for the help everyone!

I have the Keyboard viewer configured to show the full-size keyboard, and none of the customary modifier keys light up the period on the extended keyboard, nor in practice while in a document, do they have any effect on that extended keyboard key.

Me too. But I think it may be different if you actually have a full size keyboard. No way for me to test it...
