The flash on my iphone works as a flashlight but only blinks for a milisecond once when using in camera

Hi people,

I have a weird scenario that i wanted to get opinion / solution on.

So the flashlight on my new iphone 13 pro max works fine.

But when I open the camera and click a picture with flash turned ON it behaves like capturing a flash image (like waiting and focusing on the object) but the flash just blinks for a milisecond and turns off hence the picture comes out all dark.

Same goes for the video, when recording in the dark and flash tuened ON, the flash doesnt even turn on while capturing the video.

I'm confused because the flash works just fine and in camera app it behaves weird.

I've tried doing tht following:

Reset All Setting

Hard Reset the device

Restart the device.

Playing with flash for a period of time.

Updating the IOS

What I've not done is:

Factory Resetting the phone.
