I saw someone else ask this, and the answer given didn't fix the issue. It was working perfectly fine till last week. But if I listen to a message or Zoom. both work fine. only with youtube fails and only the left airpod. This is only on my macbook. both are pro.
Help please.

You mentioned this only happens with YouTube. Have you tested audio from other websites? Also, is it happening with YouTube in Safari, or in another browser?
It sounds like you may have already looked at this setting, but if not, try clicking Apple menu () > System Preferences > Sound > Output. Is the balance slider set to the middle?

What sorcery is this!! The balance option was not there before!! But yes, that fixed the problem. The weird thing is that the imbalance happened only on youtube.
