Macmini M1 and latest Photoshop

Two years ago I bought a Macmini Intel and the Photoshop installer said the mini didn't have enough VRAM. Does the Macmini M1 have enough VRAM to run Photoshop? If so I will try to do a trade-in.

I believe I just said that. Not sure what you mean by out-of-the box installation. Not much you can do to the mini once you have it other than add outside peripherals. Other than a NAS attached, and the latest version of the OS, not much else has changed.

Here you go:

"Of course, you doofus, if I can open Photoshop, that means I installed it, and of course there was no problem with out-of-the box installation, or I would have said so. Geez, Louise."

Thanks for the response. The 16 GB advice is well-taken.

However, I am paranoid about VRAM because two years ago I bought a 2018 Macmini Intel and it did not have enough VRAM to install the latest Photoshop.

So I am looking for an explicit statement that an out-of-the-box Macmini M1 will run Photoshop.

I assume that you thought that was obvious from your answer. But I really need specific reassurance, so I don't end up getting a second computer that also won't run Photoshop.
