Garmin Watch with Apple Music

Is there any chance in the foreseeable future or already in the works for Apple Music to have an app available for Garmin watches or an easy way to transfer iTunes playlists to the watch?

The below is an exert from a previous post with thousands of people who also have the same question. Thank you.

" I have to use Spotify, which I have never really liked in the first place, but since I don’t want to pay for two services I’m stuck using it if I want to have an easy solution to transfer music to my watch.

Sorry Apple, but I would only consider jumping to the Apple Watch if it had battery life that could last as long as my Fenix 6x (21 days). Even if the watch could last a minimum of 5 days I might look at it.

I know I can’t be the only one who prefers Apple Music to Spotify, but is frustrated that we can’t use it on our Garmin watches without paying for the actual music when we have a streaming service that gives us all the music for a monthly fee.

Please, if you too few the same, let’s make some noise and be heard that Apple NEEDS to work with Garmin to creat an Apple Music app for Garmin watches...I mean they already allowed Android users to have access with an app in the Google Play Store, so why not?!"

I absolutely agree. I have recently converted to Apple from the Google world, so Phone, Airpids, Honekit and Apple Music having been a long term subscriber of Spotify. Reasons for switching to Music for me were two fold.

1: Better resolution/lossless/HD tracks.

2: Apple Pay at least x3 to the artist per play than Spotify. The music industry is on its knees, if the artists can’t afford to record new music there will be no new music.

I was going to change my trusty ageing Garmin for an Apple Watch as everything Apple just works so brilliantly together. But the battery life is woeful on the Watch. As an outdoor enthusiast I can’t do a multi day activity without a recharge or go back to Spotify on a Garmin.

Apple are brilliant they have a wonderful ecosystem and with the exception of the Watch, they exceed expectations.

Garmin are the kings of wearable GPS, I just wish these two greats can work out a solution between them.
