From our understanding, you want to know if you can use WhatsApp while in Airplane Mode. We can certainly understand your concern and can help provide some insight.
WhatsApp will require a network connection of some sort. Airplane mode will turn off all wireless features but, you have the option to turn on Wi-Fi.
