Using Cricut design space and experiencing malware

Bought a Cricut and downloaded the software to MacBook Air updated to the latest Monterey OS. Getting a blank screen when opened. As per Cricut, was told to go to google.com and click the lock to check the certificate. Malicious self assigned root certificate found called "Apple" which is being used by a trusted system. Opened keychain access and selected system to see a list of certificates and saw this "self assigned" certificate in the list.

Says that computers with their certificate have been compromised and its possible that network traffic has been captured by the malicious third party certificate, along with any entered passwords......Contact apple support....
