Uhm so why does apple have type c connections on their new chargers but dont supply a box when u purchase iphones 13 pros? Im sure it cant be just this device or maybe it was just my device but uh quite the inconvenience for a phone this expensive.

they in general are moving toward usb-c and their reason for not including headsets and chargers anymore was to save the environment because people already had chargers and headsets from previous apple devices.

Apple supplies only lightning-to-USBC adapters now because making more plastic charger blocks does not make sense. You can charge from MBP ports, use the charger blocks most people have from previous phones. Apple sells a larger capacity charger block for rapid charging.
