I want compensation

I kept the phone for a whole year without breaks and a compound with thermal packaging and a protective cover and yesterday the phone fell and broke in the front a small part in the corner and damaged a lot from the back Is this reasonable for the iPhone 12 pro max from one fall to get damaged like this ? I want compensation

Hi ameen15,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you have a question about your support and repair options. We're happy to provide some information to get you in the right direction to assist.

Accidental damage isn't covered by the one-year limited warranty. However, we recommend checking your AppleCare+ coverage and details using the link here: Find information about your warranty or AppleCare plan

If you do have AppleCare+, each incident of accidental damage is subject to a service fee. If you don't have AppleCare+, you'll pay the out-of-warranty fee for that type of repair.

As options can vary based on your region, view details for the service here: iPhone Repair and Service

Be sure your iPhone is ready with these steps: Get your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch ready for service

If you need further assistance reviewing your options, reach out to Apple Support directly.
