I have an old iMac 3/21/13 IMAC Core 15 2 Buflow w

I'm planning on buying the new mini Mac will I need to by a new monitor or can I use the old iMac listed above.

You need a separate monitor since no Mac released since 2020 will support connecting to iMacs in Target Display Mode.
