Connect apple watch to iphone 12 pro

I've followed the steps, and even factory restarted my watch, but I cannot connect due to not being able to update my watch. I continue to get an error stating that I am not connected to the internet.

Unable to connect my 5 series apple watch to iphone my 5 series apple watch was reset recently, when trying to pair it with any iphone, I open the Watch App start the steps and then asked me to update the software, which I did and downloaded the new watchOS, then install and put the watch on charger, then popup message unable to verity connect to the internet ( already the iphone is connected)
