"Not Secure" warnings on sites using Safari

Is there a reason I am getting NOT SECURE warnings on many sites that I used to visit? It seems to have happened suddenly.

Safari Lately while using Safari, I get the "not-secure" notice on the address bar on certain websites. One in particular is the Wyoming Travel Information Service website. In the past I've used the website extensively and until late I have never noticed the "not-secure" warning before. I've also gotten the same warning on one other site that I commonly use so I was wondering is there is a new security feature in Safari that I am not aware of. Thanks,

is it ok to browse on websites with website stating (website not secure ) Hi all, just a quick one as i've just looked at an article on apples website regarding the message you sometimes get on websites with using Safari (website not secure). I was just wondering when it comes to browsing on these types of websites is this ok?? I have noticed a lot of websites have this message at the top of the url box . Cheers Ben

“Not Secure” Warning Displayed in Search Bar on Website on Safari on my IPad Today, I went to look up something on Safari on my IPad and while I was on the page on Safari that I was visiting and looking at, I notice that in the search bar, it has the warning that said “Not Secure”. Does this mean that my IPad will get a virus or malware or hacked? I’m scared and worried right now. What do I do?

Sometimes it can be a Certificate issue, especially with old browsers.
