Mac is slow and unresponsive

I have 783.53 storage left out of 1TB My computer is all jerky and running slow. PS keeps freezing up. What should I do?

Apple-logo -> About this Mac -> Storage


Click "Manage"


Select "Optimize Storage" (Step 1)


The second step is to look at the left-side of the panel window and examine the files that appear in that section. It will give you an idea as to the files that are eating up your disk space.


As rkaufmann87 emphasized - back up your data first!
