need verbal support and requested over 2 doz times. my phone screen says unavailable and Apple tells me they will call, but only get a voice mail. m y friends call without a problem.... so what is the problem with Apple support calling me?

Go to Settings > Phone and turn off Silence Unknown Calls.
No, so are you giving them a different phone number to call you?
Thank you deggie, for your response. Somebody else suggested this hopeful instruction the other day, and thank you. Question, am I able to skirt around my iPhone being "unavailable," as my locked screen informs me, in order to get to my settings button, and "turn off 'Silence unknown calls'?

No, and Ive mentioned same to apple support. I may have to resort to chat text... which I'm very sluggish with. support teams think I've left the discussion while I'm typing answers. again, frustrating indeed.
thank you... I'm hoping the mentioned 'Unavailable" on my screen is synonymous with two other words. The first being "disabled" and a previous on my screen word "Locked out".
Do you believe all three of these Apple terms are of the same problem nature. Sometimes I think to much and other times not enough. I appreciate your suggestion regarding a "disabled Screen/phone, just hoping these different word terms are simply a semantics issues.
