Can I use my iCloud storage with Mac mini and MacBook Air?

I have a MacBook Air that I use for school and work, this is my primary computer. I recently got a mini so that I can work at a desk when I'm at home, without connecting and disconnecting my Air to a monitor when I have to be mobile. I can't get the files that I save using my iCloud storage from my Air to show on my mini. I can see the files on my phone through the files app, but I can't figure out how to access the folders on my mini. Also, anything that I save on my mini I can't access on my Air or my phone.
