When using notes on my iPhone why is some information automatically highlighted in yellow and underlined? Can I prevent this?
No. There is no way to turn that feature off.

That information that is highlighted and underlined informs you that those are direct clickable phrases/words/numbers. For example, website links will be underlined which will inform you that you will have the ability to click on them to go to those webpages. Phone numbers will also behave the same way so you can click directly on them and start a call.

Thank you for that answer. Is there any way to turn that off as it is super annoying that things are yellow and underlined. It feels like that is something Inshould be able to control
