How do I delete messages from an Apple SE watch
Apple Watch SE, watchOS 8
I tried swiping left this morning and to my surprise it worked perfectly, clearly it / I was having a bad day yesterday!!!

Unfortunately the messages do not swipe off, they get halfway and then return to to full screen. They are SMS messages, does that make a difference?
Asking the same question on Google it would appear to be an Apple glitch which other people are also encountering.
Is your watch an SE?
Is it the penalty for buying the cheap watch which Apple did not quite perfect??!!

To delete, press the Digital Crown, select Messages, swipe left on a message, and select the Trashcan.
You can only delete one message at a time.
