My iPhone only vibrates when my alarm goes off

Hello! so this has been happening for quite some time now where my phone only vibrates when my alarm goes off. yes i have sounds on, i tried both my own sounds and apples original alarm sounds. I also went to settings and turned the vibrate on ring & silent, on and off. i’ve tried absolutely everything to make it use the audios but it only ever vibrates. please help if you can!!!
