My iPhone says “locked to its owner” I forgot the icloud, I submitted a request to apple support so it can be erased off there, I just want to know how much longer I have to wait because I heard it takes 30 days but I need a phone before then.

I provided them with the correct documentations in regards to the iPhone that’s locked, I just wanted to know or figure out how much longer will I have to wait until it’s unlocked because the lady I spoke with on the phone told me sometimes apple support takes 2 hours or 30 days. How can you go from 2 hours all the way to 30 days?

The only correct documentation that they will accept is proof that you personally purchased the phone directly from Apple or from an Apple authorized reseller. If that is what you submitted then you will have to wait; they will get to it eventually.

If this was a phone that you purchased used from someone else, or from an “unofficial” seller they will not unlock it.
