Activity app not working.

Has anyone had any problems with the activity app. I am currently trying to access the app but when I click on it, it just shows me a blank screen with the time in the top right hand corner. Also when it does work it isn’t giving me the correct data as my health app shows a lot more steps than my activity app. Any one know how to fix it?

I have been facing issues with my activity app on my Apple Watch and phone for over a month. After over 10 calls with apple support, multiple restarts, checks on settings, etc and escalations to engineers, they finally told me the issue was escalated to “senior engineers“ who don’t have a solution and I needed to just wait till they “found a fix for the software issue”. Complete BS.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
