I purchased a new Iphone 13 pro max and returned my Iphone xr but forgot to remove my SIM card

Contact your carrier. They can activate the SIM that is currently in your phone if there is one. If not, then let your carrier know you need a nano-SIM for your account to fit in an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Recovering a SIM Card:
Contact Apple Support:
If you purchased this from Apple Support. Ask them if you can recover your SIM Card. Also, enable your desired items in iCloud settings on your iPhone. If it is in iCloud, then all should sync.
the phone was purchased from Apple Canada
i am not able to use my cell number to make or receive calls. All else works.
