IP address

Your IP address can’t be compromised. You probably didn’t call Amazon; you called some scammer who pretended to be Amazon. If you gave them any personal information your identity has now been stolen.

That’s kind of strange. did the person you spoke to say your IP address had been compromised? The reason it is strange is your IP address is public information, so by definition all IP addresses are “compromised”. Or was in a coincidental notice on your phone?
