Transparent white banner at top of screen in every app

I just migrated over to the iPhone 13 Pro and have updated the software to iOS 15.3.1. There is now a transparent white bar that appears across the top of screen and is visible on the Lock Screen, Home Screen, and throughout all apps. It doesn’t appear in screenshots, however.

It goes away when rebooting the phone (not every time, more like 3 out of every 5 times), but as soon as I turn the screen off and back on again, the white banner returns.

I’ve gone through my settings and can’t find anything I would have accidentally turned on to make this appear. I’ve only managed to find one other instance on a Reddit forum of this bug occurring, but hoping someone here might have some guidance. Thanks.
