How do I clear my history

I just got rid of DuckDuckGo (Mac version). Now I cannot set my web history.

The history option is not highlighted to be accessible, and seems to be set at "one year:, as the permanent default.

Your history of searches (which DuckDuckGo doesn't maintain) is different from clearing your browser use history. Which one are you trying to delete and on what device?

Trying to clear browser history in my MacPro. Don’t want to use up memory saving everything.

Actually, just trying to make the saving usable. Now it just doesn’t seem to work.
