MacBook Air does not have enough space for new MacOs system.

I have 120Gb memory on my mac. Current operating system, macOS Mojave takes 85Gb space. New system requires about 15Gb+45Gb memory. If I delete everything from my mac I still can't get the needed space. I have put everything from mac to iCloud.

How am I able to install the newest operating system on my mac?

You can't.

These Macs were unfortunately designed with insufficient space for upgrading unless you don't use them for music or photos or videos offline, and don't install anything but web browsers. and a few word processing and spreadsheet files.

If you want to use more space, you will need to get three external drives or flash drive with more space.

One for source, one for backup, and one for the backup of the backup if it should fail.

Very much agree with previous posting. The machine should have never been offered with such a tiny internal Drive of 128 GB.

Even of one were able to clear enough Data off the existing installation of Mojave to allow an UpGrade to something newer - for good computer practice - it is suggested to keep at least 15% of the Drive Total Capacity as Empty Space for good operations of the computer and for additional updates - upGrades to download, expand and install.

This would translate into 128 GB CApacity x 15% = 19.1 GB as Empty Space at all times.

With that in mind - this will not leave much space for daily used and storage.
