iPhone 5S and iwatch series 3 42mm connectivity

Hi

My iPhone 5s is on iOS 12.5.5 and iWatch series 3 42mm, when I am trying to connect them, they are not pairing up. share the steps to connect them, if that's possible.

my 2nd Question is, Can I connect my iWatch with android Phone?

1.You require an iphone 6s or higher to pair with your series 3 watch.

2.No you cannot pair an apple watch with an android phone.
