How do I report spam or phishing emails from companies other than Apple?

I use the Mail app on my MacBook and iPhone with an iCloud email address. In my mailbox I have a few phishing and spam emails that I want to report, but they are not coming from an email address that claims to be Apple.

For example, I receive phishing messages that claim to be from "Amazon" or "Microsoft".

Can I still forward these messages to these e-mail addresses, so that they are investigated and included in the spam filter/phishing protection?

Thanks for getting back to us. On your Mac, you can set up rules for your Mail app: Use rules to manage emails you receive in Mail on Mac.

Since you are using an iCloud email address, you may also find this page's suggestions helpful: Identify and filter junk mail in iCloud.

Oh okay, but I receive many these phishing emails from automatically generated email addresses.

How do I stop receiving these types of emails?
