Apple music

So I have Verizon and had some issues with a free trial of Apple Music subscription so I deleted the app. I’m trying to get access to the iTunes I had before that and I downloaded it back. It says something about it not being linked to the iCloud. I got to iCloud in my settings and there’s no music button to try and turn on. Please help!

Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having some issues.

Are you currently trying to re-download previously purchased content tied to your Apple ID instead of using Apple Music?

If so, you would need to reinstall the Music app from the App Store. The Music app will be where Apple Music, purchased content, and content synced from your iTunes library on a Mac or PC will be located. Once reinstalled, you can manage its settings within Settings > Music.

For previously purchased content, make sure that Automatic downloads is enabled.

From there, if you are missing purchases, you can open the iTunes Store app > More > Purchased > Music > Download all.

Your purchases should now appear on the Music app.

For synced content that is missing, if you subscribe to iTunes Match, make sure that you have Sync Library enabled within Settings > Music.

Your content matched with this service should now appear on the Music app.

If you choose to subscribe to Apple Music, make sure that Sync Library is enabled within Settings > Music, as well as automatic downloads. You will then be able to use the Music app for downloading and streaming content associated to this service.

Hope this helps.
