My AirPods are having trouble connecting to my iPhone 12

So i restarted my airpods by forgetting but then i couldn’t reconnect them. Now, after having restarted my iphone multiple times i am unable to connect my airpods to my iphone. Help!

My airpods we’re having trouble connecting to my iphone 12 pro max so i restarted my airpods by forgetting but then i couldn’t reconnect them. Now, after having restarted my iphone multiple times i am still unable to connect my airpods to my iphone. Even though they will connect perfectly fine on another apple device for some reason my iphone will not detect them. What do i do!
