How can I connect my disabled iPad to iTunes?

How can I connect my disabled iPad to iTunes? I didn't use my iPad for a while. I want to use it again, but I have forgotten my device password. After trying several times with different passwords that I thought it is correct, my iPad is disabled.

Click here and follow the instructions. Restoring the iPad requires plugging it into a computer with iTunes installed, or a Mac running Catalina or newer.
