IPhone 7 Heating issue

I had a dream to use IPhone and was able to buy an IPhone 7 after a struggle. I never heard IPhone hangs or heats like other mobiles do. This was reason i wanted an IPhone.

Now my mobile burns if i even use it for 30 mins . This isnt normal.

I reached out to tech support and they say the battery has to be replaced since its 76%.

i cant accept this, battery issues can cause it draining out quickly. But heating issues no no.

I never thought i will have Heating issues with IPhone, such a great brand in Mobile.

Please suggest.

iPhone 7, iOS 15

Yes, a battery at 76% will begin misbehaving and one of the ways is it will overheat. If you continue using it the next thing you will see is the battery welling and pushing the screen unit from the frame.

Realize the iPhone 7 was released by Apple in 2016. Undoubtedly this iPhone has been through its share of use.

That's your answer. This is an incredibly low number for this battery. Undoubtedly this iPhone has been used even more extensively than I imagined above.
